2024 update:

Arthur Farley  has had a tough year suffering a cancer diagnosis, but he is on the mend and currently training in Portugal for the upcoming season. He has been selected into the British sailing squad with a view to compete in the 2028 Olympics.

2022 Achievements:

• Arthur was the under 19s national laser champion.
• Under 19 European Champion 2022
• 1st Under 19 Kiel Week 2022
• 2nd Under 21 Kiel Week 2022
• 2nd RYA Youth Nationals Championship 2022
• Core crew member on the yacht Wasp in the 2019 Round the Island Race, which came 4th overall IRC.

Arthur has great aspirations to race for GBR in the Olympics and to also win world titles. He is another great example of the talent we have on the island and I feel that backing these talented sports persons is critical to expand their capabilities in the world of sport.
